Spray Drying

Spray drying is a process by which a material is transformed from a fluid state into a dried particle form by spraying the liquid feed into a hot drying medium. It is one of the most economical and commercially feasible drying techniques (Shishir and Chen, 2017). This is the preferred method of drying of many thermally-sensitive materials, or materials which may require extremely consistent, fine, particle size.
